My Story

Before Medical School and my own personal transformation, of losing over 50 pounds!

About 10 years ago, my son was born and it hit me hard. As a new parent, I was out of shape. 

I was physically not ready for him, and joy-filled moments to come.☹️

Something had to change.

I was overweight, for most of my life, I really struggled with weight issues. 

I also had to deal with recurring pain daily especially on my knee joints.

Along with that, I had high blood pressure, which came with the “package” of poor health. 

I occasionally felt lightheaded and dizzy. From doing anything, as simple as, standing up.🤕

This was a very scary feeling.😨

It was slowly and gradually getting worse over the years.😥

Even my own primary care provider was warning me, that I was at a serious risk for developing obstructive sleep apnea.

This is just the health part.

Looking at myself in the mirror, is a whole another story.🪞

I have been down the road of trial and error, with diet and exercise.

Losing weight only to gain it back.🚧

Fad diet after Fad diet.

From Tae-Bo VHS Tapes to P90x DVDs, nothing worked.

I was FINALLY! able to break the cycle and lose 50 pounds and keep it off! 😲

Today, I have a new lease on life and feel more energy and happiness.😃

Most importantly, far fewer health-related pains and problems.

Words cannot truly express the feeling of finally reaching this personal goal of mine!

How was this possible?

With my background in medicine, research in nutrition, kinesiology, and psychology. 🩺🔑📚

I was able to help myself, gain control of my own weight problems first. Then I helped others on their own journey to lose weight. 😊

It’s an amazing feeling to help someone discover their full potential, and help them reach their goals. 🥰

Professionally speaking not that many qualified medical doctors have experienced the difficulty, of being overweight and losing it.

As far as, “Certified” trainers/ nutritionists, let’s be real, 3 months is NOT enough training to qualify for anything.😕
